to all the boys i loved before, ps. i still love you, and always and forever -lara jean, had to be the best books I’ve read before and i wish i could keep reading continuously.

I think that in the future beyond the books peter and lara jean would stay together through out college and eventually get married. Reading these books had me hooked and i really enjoyed it.

this is peter and lara jean, they continued to make contracts throughout which was a main component through out the books.

in the pine ridge article it mentions 1975. in flight zits had also mentioned 1975, “Those hammer guys were killing everybody back then. And then the FBI joined up with hammer and started killing people too. man when was that, back in 1975, or 1976?” This was referencing to the American Indian movement. Alexie had made his own version of this event using the names ‘hammer’ and ‘iron’.

• What do you think is the most important aspect (part) of Zits’ character? What defines him the most?  Do you feel he is an accurate depiction of a teen? Why?
  • his stubbornness to not be used or taken advantage of. he’s often perceived as a rude individual, when he’s just a teenager trying to make his way. his connection to himself defines him the most because it shows his pride while being humble. zits definitely is the accurate depiction of a teen. he is acting just how one should, he’s hard-headed, stubborn, moody, and doesn’t care about consequences.

• do we have to change ourselves to fit into the world around us?
  • Technically no, you shouldn’t have to change yourself for anyone or anything. But, if someone were to want to fit in and be liked, well known, or popular. then yes, you would want to adapt to the world around you. That could be just changing what you wear or how you look to seem trendy and fit in.

• what does it mean to be a teenager?
  • To be a teenager is to experience new things; things you might not be able to when your adults due to responsibility’s and such. When your a teenager it’s your time to act out and try things you normally wouldn’t do. its a time when your hormones and emotions are completely out of order.
• How does loneliness feel and what can it make a person do or think?
  • it can make someone not feel worthy and give them zero motivation to do anything. loneliness can make them feel like no one cares about them and to not even try to socialize with others. this can cause someone to be severely depressed and maybe suicidal.
• how is loneliness tied to the teenage ideas
  • teenagers tend to feel like everyone is against them and out to get them. So this can lead them to lonliness and depression. Teenagers can be nasty and spread rumors which can make other teens not have friends due to drama or rumors which leaves them with that lonliness.

• Why do we write
  • Many people write either to journal their emotions to help explain how they feel or to let out the emotions they have to feel free from them. Another reason people write is to inform others of a topic or an event. Some people write just to communicate with others, see how they are, catch up with them, inform them of what’s going on in their lives, and so on. People write for many reasons; some are just for fun and want to make up a story to entertain others. The purpose they may have can be to win a prize, feel accomplished, or even get an accomplishment, maybe it’s for a contest, or it could be for personal benefit because they simply like writing and it makes them feel worthy. Different goals are that somebody might want to win something or accomplish something, like I said before.
